Totara wins again in Singapore

Totara continues to do well in Singapore. This big horse has got speed to burn and shows it when finishing off his races. He just wants to win, fighting to get to the front and then running on spectacularly.
May 2010 has seen Totara score another all conquering win and a 6th in the Group 1 Singapore Guineas. A great effort for his first Group 1 race. He is looking very well and is really enjoying his racing, so congratulations to all his connections.
Totara has only been out of the money twice in his 11 starts in Singapore. He is described by his trainer, John Meagher, as a 'big heavy horse' who 'still has some filling out to do'. There are big expectations for the future!
Totara is a Totara Park Stud born and raised three-year-old by Rusty Spur out of Zorba’s Dance (Prince of Praise). He was passed in at the Karaka Sales as a yearling. He has now won over S$120,000 in prize money.
