JANUARY WINNERS

PRINCESS LEIA (Rusty Spur - Alien Victory) took 3rd at Ruakaka on the 5th of January. She was 7th outer at the start and raced keenly before taking off at the turn and running on well for third place. Watch the race here.

OLIVINE (Rusty Spur - Tennisciti Belle) ran third of the 3rd of January. She was 4th outer, up at the 500m and battled well down the straight to take third place. Watch the race here.

FONEELEVEN (Drama Critic - Pris de Vertige) won his first race of the year on the 3rd of January. He was slow to start, ran 7th on the outer, was wide at the turn, then ripped home for the win. Watch the race here.

VENETIAN RAIDER (Rusty Spur - Rare Bits) kicked off the year with great win on New Years Day. In her usual style she sped to the lead, kicked on and held well all the way to the line. Watch the race here.

DECEMBER WINNERS

BLISSFILLY (Drama Critic - Stray Lady) ran 2nd at Stratford of the 31st of December. She ran 2nd from the start, was third at the 1200m, led at the turn and unfortunately was beaten before the line. Watch the race here.

LUCKY BREAK (Rusty Spur - Hard Copy) ran 2nd at South Canterbury on the 28th of December. She was second outer when she challenged at the 200m and tried hard all the way to the line. Watch the race here.

DARING FIGHTER (Drama Critic - Politeness) continued his outstanding form in Singapore on the 18th of December, taking his second win in a row. Once again he missed the start and was last until the 1200m, before running 4 wide along the back straight. He hit the lead at the 300m and fought hard all the way to take the win. PAUANUI (Rusty Spur - Chrisarah) won another race at North Canterbury races on the 16th of December. She was 5th outer during the running, kicked on at the 500m and closed strongly to win. Watch the race here.

ARONSAY ( Drama Critic - Coup de Folie) took a win in Southland on the 10th of December. Running over 2200m, he kept in the rear until he snatched the lead at the 1000m, from there he had control all the way. Watch the race here.

NOVEMBER WINNERS

DARING FIGHTER (Drama Critic - Politeness) stormed home for an outstanding and somewhat unbelieveable win in Singapore on the 27th of November. He missed the start completely and was last to the 1000m. He was still 2nd last at the 400m before releasing his devastating speed down the outside of the track to take the win. ARONSAY (Drama Critic - Coup de Folie) snatched third equal and Otago races on the 27th of November. He sat 2nd in a slow paced race before challenging at the turn and fighting to the line. Watch the race here.

DARING FIGHTER (Drama Critic - Politeness) ran third in Singapore on the 6th of November. He jumped awkwardly, ran midfield and then came around the turn outside all others and kept trying all the way to the line. Watch the race here.
